Musky, Muskellunge (Pickeral Family) Esox masquinongy

"Waterwolf, Waterwolves" 
Largest member of the pike family. Preferring shallow, warm waters in which to stalk their prey, they are highly aggressive.
Similar in appearance to northern pike, muskellunge have scales only on the upper half of cheeks and gill covers, and 12 to 18 sensory pores under the lower jaw. Body color ranges from barred to spotted to plain. Background is light with dark markings.
