Eelpout/Ocean Pout (Macrozoarces americanus)

Also called Yowler.
Color variable: golden brown, with brown mottling. Size ranges to 3 1/2 feet long. Yellowish Dorsal fin ends several inches from tail in tiny rays, anal fin runs all the way to tail. Pectoral fins often reddish. Large, pouty mouth with very small, dull teeth. Edible (sweet). There are about 150 different species of eelpout.
