Spotted Hake, Inshore ( family Gadidae ) 
Urophycis regius

Sometimes mistaken for Ling Cod, which is a Red Hake.
12-16" long. Short first dorsal fin followed by a second dorsal fin that runs all the way to just before the anal fin. Equally long caudal fin below. Distinguishable by a row of pale spots that run along it's back from behind the gils to just before the tail. Edible.
