Gadus morhua,  Coloration brownish sometimes w/reddish spots. Three dorsal fins, two anal fins. Pectoral fins placed well forward.  Pale Lateral line easily seen. "Bearded", with eyes place high on head. Blunt snout with low slung mouth. Ranges from Greenland to Cape Hatteras. Edible
