Euthynnus alletteratus Blue along the upper back, with 3-5 horizontal wavy lines across the blue. Belly is white with no stripes, with spots under the pectoral fins. Maximum size 3 ft 4 inches 26 lbs. Area beyond corselet is smooth. NO FOOD VALUE Also Called: FALSE ALBACORE, commonly confused with the Atlantic Bonito.
