Look here to find how-to tips on live baits, dry
baits, lures & more.....
Updated on 2/15/02 by Maureen Albertson
The bait selection varies as the seasons progress, as does which bait
you use on a particular fish at a given time of year. For example, during
the spring, Striped Bass hit mainly on bloodworms, with clam as an alternate
choice. During mid to late summer, however, the primary bait becomes fresh
herring or bunker.
See our Quick
Reference Fishing Chart for a rough seasonal calendar.

Guide to learn more about the things you can catch.
