Nefertiti(The beautiful one has arrived), watching over the Sands of Eqypt. There is something so mystical about ancient Egypt. The noble quality of the stylized culture attracts us all.The Pyramids seem to beckon to us...come climb up to the temple at the top...see the great lords who sleep beneath these stones, and remember them.It is so easy to see in your minds eye, how the pyramids must have looked in the long ago days when they were new. You can close your eyes, and smell the desert, hear the sounds of the beasts of burden, the people on their way to worship on holy days in the temple that lies between the paws of the great Sphinx. Imagine yourself there, tasting the dust on your lips, smelling the cool air of the spring dawn before the sun rises to bake the sands. Picture Pharaoh and the priests, praying to Amon Ra as the sun rises above the sands, above the Sphinx, and the Pyramids.It must have been something to see, all that limestone gleaming brilliantly in the sun.
