| To get here, take the Garden State Parkway all
the way to the end, following the road it flows into until you have to
go right or left---go right, the proceed to the end. Eventually, you have
to stop or you'll be underwater. Before you is the Concrete Wreck. |
| Look,
a fisherman! Tautog, blues, striper? etc, can be caught
off of the several jettys, and you can see a boat fishing off the wreck
itself. |
| That's
the Cape May Ferry in the distance. |
| The
beach is pebbles, polished smooth by the waves, just waiting for the eager
collector. Kat wasn't immune
to the charm of collecting Cape May Diamonds, the translucent quartz stones. |
| Watching
the ferry. |
| There
are gift shops and food right next to the beach. |
| Pam
joins the collecting. There is a surf-angler back
in the distance. |
| Mom
is usually afraid to handle a camera, but she took this nice one with the
setting sun lighing across the jetty and the wreck. |
| Alex
dabbles his feet in the water while Kat hunts for shells among the stones---brrrrr. |
