April 3, 1957. A baby girl was born in florida and adopted by a family in Georgia.
August 1997, ten years after discovering that she was indeed adopted (confirming a feeling she'd had since she was a child), Pam, now married to Charles Strassburger, mails a letter to her birth mother (our mother, Kathleen Riehl), and is welcomed whole-heartedly into her "new" family!
I have to say that this is one of the greatest events in my life (next to meeting my husband and having my kids). Pam is wonderful, and fits right into the family as if she grew up with us. We are planning to go down to visit her during winter break--I'll see if I'm allowed to take the digital camera to Georgia.--Huh, boss, can I?
October 6th-7th 1997, she visited here in Mystic Islands NJ, with my family, and we girls toured two of Cape May County's local sites, the Zoo (if you've never been there, it's great!), and Cape May Point Beach. Here are the pictures---->zoo and cape may pictures via links below. Enjoy-----MizMo
