Crabbing Report:
Took the boat out with the wife and child for a ride up to Barnegat Light. On the way back we decided to drop a few handlines with frozen bunker. We crabbed about an hour - first pull was a huge female, which went back. Every crab after was a male - many of them 5 1/2 or better. A few shorts here and there, but with a child - about an hour is all I got. Left with 11 keepers; not a bad stop on the way back in.

SORRY FOLKS! I just now realized that on my crab report from, where the Moon phase info is supposed to be displayed, it was instead listing the tide info over again. I've corrected it so that future reports will show the moon phase. ~MizMo

Crabbed with 3 people on rental boat from Rands. 3 handlines and 4 traps. Crabbed from about 11:00 am to 3 pm. Caught 9 keepers barely over the 4 1/2 and about 18 too small or female. Not a banner day. Moved constantly to back pockets and to try to get out of the wind but no hot spots. That's about $11 / crab.

Crabbing Report:
Got there about 8:30. Crabbed about two and a half hours by the bridge and at the launch area. Used chicken and bunker. Even tied a chicken leg on the fishing line and got a few that way. Got a dozen keepers, most five inches or better. A couple under the limit went back in the creek. Hope to see them next trip.
Took a lunch break and headed down to the public area off of Fern Ave. Tide was just about ready to start in. Got four more keepers at the floating dock and headed for home after an hour and change.
