About Scott's Bait &
Tackle:
Scott started out when he was
14, catching minnows for some of the local businesses.
After a time, he added some poles and rigs to his inventory, starting out
in his parents garage, then eventually moving to the shed next to Marino's
Texaco, in his hometown of Mystic Islands NJ. He attended college,
primarily computer courses, at the Richard Stockton College of NJ,
operating the business primarily in the mornings before school and on the
weekends. Due to zoning restrictions, he was forced to make a major decision
in 1988---close down, or make the big move and open up an official store.
Scott does things in big chunks----he opened up Scott's Bait & Tackle
across the street from the Texaco, in one half of the business building
located there. After some major renovations, Scott's Bait &
Tackle
made it's grand re-opening.
Since then, we have married, had
two children, purchased the building, and expanded the store. Every year
sees growth and changes. March 1997 we began this webpage, which in turn
has grown at a phenomenal rate(I apologize for the projects that went on
hold we are doing our best). You can definitely see Scott's hand in our
technological advances---all our friends know how keen he is on computer
technology and it's use for business. We have at least 12 computers
between our immediate families alone---multiple computers at the store,
and soon to be more than one at home. The page will keep changing
as we keep learning more, Enjoy! MizMo

What You'll see and what
to look for on our Webpage:
We split the webpage into
two sections, one for fishing(our original page) and one for hunting, as
you can see when you first come into our web site. Both
sections have an area where I post notes about sections that have been
added to or updated, aside from the sections that are updated daily.
This is very much a family oriented
business, so our page is also geared to family things --- periodically
we post photos, photos albums of trips/parties, etc.
