REEL INFO:  International I Tournament - No other reel has done more to shape the world of big game angling than the Penn Internationals. Models in the new International II series range from the massive 80TW to the light and fast 12LT IGFA class reel. The old 12H reel from the International I Tournament series was designed for light tackle use on medium-weight gamefish such as wahoo, striped marlin and similar fish. Each and every International is built in the USA to rigid specifications. (1992 Penn Catalog) HISTORY:  In the mid 80's this reel was replaced by the 12T model, which has similar specifications, although the construction differs.
