REEL INFO:  Power Graph® III Reel Series - PGIII spinning reels were designed from the inside out for performance in the harshest of environments, saltwater. Most competitive reels are originally designed for freshwater use, and some companies simply try to coated the guts of the reel to "saltwater proof" their product. Coatings are nice to wear in cold weather, but in a reel, we have found it best to simply build it to stand up to tis intended environment, saltwater. And if it works in saltwater, nine and a half out of ten experts agree that freshwater is no problem. (2004 Penn Catalog)
