REEL INFO:  Spinfisher SS Series - The 850SS, 750SS and 650SS spinning reels are designed for heavy use: surf casting and boat fishing for bluefish and big channel bass, sailfish, cobia and other tough gamefish. HISTORY:  The 650SS, 750SS and 850SS skirted spool spinning models for heavy use were discontinued. In 1997 they were replaced by new models: 6500SS, 7500SS, 8500SS and 9500SS.

Construction:
    Naval brass or stainless-steel pinion gear.
    Naval brass or high quality machined anodized marine aluminum main gear.
    Stainless steel ball bearings.
    Housing and rotor cups on 850SS through 650SS are anodized die cast aluminum and feature a durable, baked enamel.
Features:
    Stainless steel bail featuring and external trip.
    Right or left hand drive thanks to a convertible handle which folds easily.
    An additional lever is located under the rotor cup that permits a slient or click option while reel is in anti-reverse.
