Reel Repair/Cleaning SEE Rates and Repair Form, below:

We currently have a local repairman, who primarily handles Penn reels: turnaround--about 1-2 weeks depending on how many reels are in for service. Parts are in house for Penn reels.

We also repair reels by other manufacturers but these may have a longer turnaround time if we need to order parts. Some reels, such as Abu Garcia's, are best handled by manufacturer services---you can ship it out yourself. We are NOT a warranty center for Penn or any other manufacturer. *Reel Clean/Lube Rates* $10.00 for standard spinning/conventional reels. $15.00 for standard large offshore/international reels. (this may also apply to spin/conv reels with complications) $18.00 for major overhaul on badly abused reels (Rare charge). PLUS shipping/handling beginning at ($7.80 USA)/($22.00 International) and up depending on weight. PLUS Parts for Reel Repair (if any) -- Variable depending what is required. For some repairs the price of parts are as low as $1-$3, others may be high enough to require an estimate first.

Reel Filling/Lining

This can be while you wait, or pick-up later. The price is figured by the yard, no charge for labor. You can ask us for an approx. quote. We can also line reels sent in for repair, just make a note of it on the repair form (see above).

Rod Repair (Pickup/Dropoff ONLY!)

We repair tips in the store, while you wait or pick-up later if the place is buzzing.
WE DO NOT SHIP OUT RODS, so DO NOT mail one in for repair!

Rod guide repairs and wraps are done by a local gentleman. Turnaround time varies seasonally--depending on how many rods come in for repair, etc. Say 1-2 weeks.
 

Rates:	Tip replacement $1.50 plus price of tip.
	Rod guide replacement $6.00/wrap plus price of guides.
	Double wraps $8.00/wrap plus price of guides.

Special Orders

Yes, we do special orders, average turnaround time 1-2 weeks for items that have to be ordered in.  3-5 days turnaround for in-stock merchandise.
