Starting March 1, 2011
"Keeper" means 28", or greater for the 2011 season
as per NJ saltwater regulations. (Subject to change if NJFGW posts new regs.)
Measure striped bass by laying them on top of ruler on flat surface, mouth closed and tail squeezed, to get accurate measurement. If you measure along the curve of the fish with a tape, the length may incorrect and you could end up holding an illegal fish!
NOTE: It is the discretion of Scott's Bait & Tackle to determine if a fish is acceptable or not.
